Homelessness

If you encounter someone sleeping rough, ask their permission for you to get them some help. If they agree, you can call St.Mungo’s outreach team on 01202 315962 and let them know the name and location of the person. They will respond to them in person at their earliest convenience. St. Mungo’s are commissioned by the council to assess individuals' needs, help them access safe accommodation, and provide support for health and employment. Alternatively, there is a national equivalent (Streetlink) for referrals anywhere in the UK.
